November 18, 2003 @ 2:05 p.m. So. I need to, at some point, write an entry about the launch, which was last night and was excellent and all that jazz. I'm not going to be doing that now, except briefly. The night began with me running around Mayfields stressing and having people I'd never met stop me, grab my shoulders, look into my eyes and say "RELAX!". It ended with me and some other people standing in someone's kitchen, very drunk and slightly stoned, James and I patting the pet cat and going "oooooohhhhh" because its fur was The Most Amazing Thing Ever. But the real details will come later, for two reasons. The first is that we have an interview for our new housemate soon (when I say "interview", it's Deirdre's and my friend Tish coming over to hang out and talk smack and check out the house). The second is that after that I'm going out for post-drinks drinks with some of the anthology crew, because despite the fact that my liver has spent the better part of today cowering behind other internal organs, whimpering and wondering what's it'd done wrong...despite that fact, I apparently don't learn from experience. Fuck. I've just realised there's actually three reasons, and the third one is the biggie. I shall give it to you in MSN chat form, because I'm a lazy bastard.
