nude twister

August 14, 2003 @ 3:40 p.m.
These are the days of our lives. Well, mine anyway. Unless you are secretly living my life too. Freak.

Last night was excellent. I went to see one of the heats for the Melbourne Uni Battle of the Bands, and coincidentally (accidentally?) got to meet the lovely Clare. (My people know her people. Specifically, Stu is friends with one of Clare's friends. I found this out some time ago and it was quite spooky and made me have that fucking "It's a Small World After All" song in my head for two hours). She is very cool. I was very nervous, because I am shy and retiring, and also mildly socially retarded. Plus I went there straight from work so she got to see me in my extraordinarily sexy library clothes. Woo! I had a funny conversation with one of the girls on the door when I went in. I can't remember what it was, but she kept referencing it every time she saw me, which was slightly freaky.

Afterwards, I drove Stuart home and in the car we talked about retarded babies and Mr E. Then we got to his house and chased each other around the dining room table, trying to wipe spit on each other. That's not some weird euphemism for sex, by the way. That was actually what we did.

Today has not been nearly as cool as yesterday. In fact, some parts of today have outright sucked, and 2pm saw me in the Matheson library at Uni sobbing quietly to myself over the sheer suckage of it all. But I feel better now. Deirdre is currently in the kitchen, cleaning out the fridge and periodically screaming in horror, and I have developed an irrational grudge against fruit.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I have to study during the day, but come nighttime, I'm going to see drag kings at the Star hotel. You should all come! Drag kings! Woo! And after all, my creepy friends and I will be there. If you come, though, please don't tell my friends I said they were creepy, they'll hurt me.
